Our base technique is Therapeutic Massage. In addition, each individual therapist will supplement the base technique with other modalities such as: Sweedish, deep tissue massage, medical massage, and lymphatic drainage massage.
Personalized Relaxation with Sheri Beth
Sheri Beth has been trained and certified in various bodywork and relaxation techniques and modalities including but not limited to: Massage, Reiki, Ayurvedic Bodywork, Aromatherapy, and Meditation. Your session will begin with a short meeting with Sheri Beth to discuss your treatment goals.
Reiki
Reiki is the ancient healing art and science of healing and balancing the body's life force energy on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level through the laying-on of hands. This treatment is done with the client fully clothed.
This is a wonderful treatment for low energy and stress relief. With the use of Reiki, your seven major chakras are opened and balanced for a feeling of harmony and well being.
This treatment combines Therapeutic Massage with Reiki. Each section of the body is massaged, and then balanced with Reiki. The treatment ends with Chakra Balancing, which leaves you feeling relaxed, balanced and recharged. This is the ultimate treatment for a good night sleep.
Your feet are gently cleansed, after which a Green Tea and Mint scrub softens calluses and removes dead skin cells, then a deeply hydrating clay masque is applied. This feeling is intensified by having your feet wrapped in warm towels. After a mini reflexology treatment stimulates your feet, and the Green Tea and Mint heel recovery cream will give your feet the feeling of velvet.
UVA/UVB light mimics the sun's natural light, increases vitamin D production and is great for the winter blues. 2- 10 minute sessions per week are recommended.
Ayurvedic Bodywork
Vishesh
A vigoruous, rhythmic massge treatment using warm hrbalized oils specific to your current imbalances. This treatement breaks up adhesions, stimulates lymphatic flow, and guides impurities out of the body. Your body will be relaxed and your mind will be cleared.
Shirodhara
Warm herbalized oils are poured in a gentle stream over your forehead followed by a relaxing head massage. This treatment synchronizes brain waves and profoundly coordinates aand calms the mind body and spirit.
Swedna (Steam Therapy)
Since ancient times, steam therapy has been used by traditional healing systems around the world to improve and maintain good health and beauty. Ayurvedic Swedna, Turkish baths, Indian sweat lodges, Finnish saunas, Japanese steam rooms-these are just a few examples of cultures that harness the power of steam. Even Hippocrates recognized that by creating an "artificial fever" cure many illnesses.
The Healing Spa Lavender Steam
We start with a full body massage using Lavender infulsed oil, next an organic lavender salt scrub is applied. Relax while you steam for 20 minutes with lavender petals. This is excellent for relaxation and rejuvination for your skin.
Jump Start Weight Loss
This treatment is great for anyone who has plateaued with their current weightloss program or has just begun a new healthy lifestyle or program. By raising the core body temperature, the metabolism increases resulting in burned calories (not just loss of water weight). Fat is soluble at 110 degrees, during the treatment you will be losing water weight and fat while burning calories.
